I pull the Report on Business and Globe Style from the paper and leave the rest on the new glass table. Chrome legs hold tempered white reflections of the urban myth.  The lead story, “The Luxury Slump”, can wait.  The month of the September Issue has landed like a bomb in this town and there is no sign of stopping the fall fashion from reaching the streets…
